Students from Ms. McCormack’s, Ms. Treacy’s, and Mr. Kelly’s first-year classes recently took part in an exciting Geography quiz. The event tested their knowledge of key topics in a fun and interactive way, fostering teamwork and friendly competition.
Meanwhile, Ms. McCormack’s Treaty 1 class engaged in a hands-on activity focused on earthquake-proof structures. Working in teams, students designed and built models of structures capable of withstanding simulated shockwaves. The activity not only showcased their creativity and problem-solving skills but also deepened their understanding of how engineering can help mitigate the impact of natural disasters.
Well done to all students for their enthusiasm and hard work!
