Junior girls League soccer match v Thomond CC- 8th March 2023 -

On a cold spring day our girls Junior soccer, with the wonderful game plan of Katie Keogh P3, with the guidance of two of our injured players, Lucy and Grace played bravely against Thomond CC on the soccer pitch at TUS.
We started off well with the goal from our captain Katie followed by a goal from Lily O'Donoghue who had an outstanding match. We continued to play well as we saved two goals by our star goalie Simphwe. However the tide turned me and we conceded two goals. Two brilliant tackles that led us to a free by Rebecca Mitchell and Salma. Sadly Thomond struck again and the game ended in a 3-2 the final all. But overall it was a good match and we worked well together.
