Congratulations to Mungret Community College's Concern Debate team who proposed the motion 'School strikes are an effective way of getting governments to act on Climate Change' last night against St Kieran's College, Kilkenny. Mungret made their impressive debut in the competition against an experienced side. Best of luck to both sides in the competition.Mungret Community College are due to have their first Concern debate against St Kieran’s College, Kilkenny next Wednesday. They will be using the skills gained over the course of their Junior Cycle studies as well as a module of debating in Transition Year. They will later face Ardscoil Mhuire and Scoil Mhuire, Kanturk.
