U15s lost to Palleskenry 6-3 after a thrilling 3-3 draw in normal time pushed the game to extra time. Unfortunately MCC were outdone in this period as Pallaskenry took their chances to get over the line.
A brilliant start for Mungret saw right winger Abdallah Harmarneh get fouled inside the box and Christian Stack cooly convert the penalty. Conceding just moments later, MCC were able to hit back as Harmarneh was once again in the action, taking a nice rebound in his tride to finish into the bottom corner.
All looked lost when Pallaskenry went 3-2 up with just minutes to go, but centre back Dylan Gilmore climbed Highest at a corner to clinch a last minute equaliser. It wasn't to be in extra time as MCC ran out of legs, nonetheless, the side were on top for the majority of the second half and were unlucky to fall short.
